You are here: What we do Other projects Plastic Soup Footprint
Organizations wanting to be more environmentally friendly usually try to reduce their climate impact or resource-use. However, they often do not consider the different types of plastic leakage into the environment and how this contributes to the global problem of plastic pollution, which we call the plastic soup. While common measures include making plastic products recyclable and making use of recycled content, this, unfortunately, is not enough to tackle our ever-growing plastic problem. The Plastic Soup Foundation believes that more needs to be done in order for us not to drown in plastic in the future. We will have to reduce the production and use of plastic wherever possible.
